Beta draft — under legal review.

Flockie is in a private beta on a test network. This document is a working draft that is being reviewed by legal counsel and may change before public launch. Details marked “to be confirmed” are still being finalised. It isn’t legal advice.

In short. Be real, be kind, and take no for an answer. People on Flockie are never for sale, money is never a condition for anything, and anyone under 18 has no place here. Reporting and blocking are free, immediate, and always within two taps.

01What we stand for#

Flockie introduces a small number of people to each other for a short, honest conversation. It works only if everyone can trust that the person across the conversation is real, adult, and there for the same reason. These standards apply to everything you do on Flockie — your profile, photos, messages, extension requests and Keeps — and, where it concerns people you met here, to how you treat them off the platform too.

  • Real people. Be yourself. Use your own photos and be honest about your age and profile.
  • Respect. Everyone can reply, not reply, decline, or leave at any time. That’s a normal part of meeting people.
  • Consent at every step. Extensions need the other person to accept. A permanent conversation needs you both to Keep each other.
  • People are never for sale. A Drop funds a reward pool that the Explorer allocates after the experience. It is never payment for anyone’s attention, company, a date, or any sexual or romantic act.
  • Safety first, always free. Reporting, blocking and appealing never cost anything and work even while an account is restricted.

02Who can be here#

  • Adults only. You must be 18 or older. We remove anyone we believe is under 18.
  • One real account per person. Use an email address or X account you control. No shared, bought, borrowed or duplicate accounts, and no coming back after a ban.
  • Accurate basics. Your age, gender and city must be true. Connecting X is optional and does not verify your identity, so honesty matters.

03Be yourself#

Not allowed:

  • impersonating anyone, including public figures, other members or Flockie staff;
  • photos that aren’t of you, that are mainly of someone else, or that show children, even your own;
  • misrepresenting your age, identity, relationship status in a way meant to deceive, or intentions;
  • fake, automated or AI-operated accounts, and profiles created for someone else.

Photos are reviewed before anyone sees them. We may reject a photo that is explicit, suggestive in a sexual way, violent, shows someone else, or includes personal information such as an address or a payment handle.

04Respect everyone#

Not allowed:

  • harassment and bullying: repeated unwanted contact, insults, degrading comments, or pressure after someone has said no or stopped replying;
  • hate: attacking or demeaning anyone for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious illness, or age;
  • threats and violence: threatening, encouraging or glorifying violence against anyone, including yourself;
  • stalking and intimidation: tracking someone down, contacting them through other channels after they’ve left or blocked you, or showing up uninvited;
  • unsolicited sexual content: sexual comments, images, or requests the other person hasn’t clearly welcomed — and explicit content is never allowed (see section 5).

Disagreement, flirting that’s welcome, and ending a conversation politely are all fine. Declining an extension or choosing not to Keep someone is never a violation, and nobody is told about a Keep that wasn’t mutual.

05Sexual content and solicitation#

Flockie is not a place for sexual content or commerce.

  • No explicit content. No nudity, sexual acts, or sexually explicit images, video, audio or text, whether shared or requested.
  • No non-consensual intimate imagery. Never share, threaten to share, or ask for intimate images of anyone without their consent. This includes sextortion.
  • No sexual solicitation or commerce. Offering, requesting or advertising sexual services, escorting, “sugar” arrangements, paid dates or meetings (other than a professional meeting at an Event, booked and paid in the app), or any exchange of money, tokens or gifts for sexual, intimate or romantic conduct is prohibited. Our Anti-solicitation Policy sets this out in full.

06Protecting minors#

Zero tolerance. Any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers a minor, any attempt to contact a minor for sexual purposes, and any indication that a member may be under 18 is treated as our most serious category (P0). We pause the account immediately, preserve evidence, and report suspected child sexual exploitation to NCMEC or the relevant authority as the law requires.

07Trafficking, coercion and exploitation#

Not allowed: recruiting, transporting, controlling, or profiting from anyone through force, fraud or coercion; managing or “booking” another person; and any sign that someone is being made to take part against their will. If you think someone is in danger, contact local emergency services first, then report it to us.

08Privacy of others#

Not allowed:

  • doxxing: sharing someone’s home address, workplace, phone number, legal name, or other private details without their consent, or encouraging others to find them;
  • publishing screenshots of private conversations or someone’s profile to shame, expose or harass them;
  • recording or sharing someone’s image or words to humiliate or threaten them.

09Money, scams and spam#

  • Never ask for money. Don’t ask anyone for money, gifts, gift cards, crypto, loans, or help with an “emergency”. Don’t ask for or negotiate a reward allocation or an extension, and never make a conversation conditional on money.
  • No scams or fraud. Phishing, investment or crypto “opportunities”, romance scams, fake giveaways and fake support accounts are removed.
  • No spam or promotion. No advertising, affiliate links, recruiting, copy-pasted messages, or promoting other platforms or paid content.
  • No gaming the system. No self-matching, colluding accounts, payout farming, or manipulating Drops, allocations, extensions or Keeps.

10Illegal and dangerous activity#

Not allowed: selling or promoting illegal drugs, weapons or regulated goods; promoting self-harm or suicide; and using Flockie for anything illegal. If you’re struggling, please reach out to a local crisis line or emergency services.

11Evading enforcement#

Don’t create new accounts after a ban, share or link accounts to get around a restriction, or disguise prohibited content with spacing, symbols, misspellings, emoji or images to slip past our screening. Evasion is itself a violation and usually leads to a ban.

12How to report or block#

You can report or block anyone you’ve been introduced to, from the chat menu or their profile sheet, in two taps or fewer. Both are free and work at any time, including while you’re restricted.

Report lets you choose a reason, add details, optionally attach recent messages as evidence, and block in the same step. The reasons are:

  • sexual solicitation or paid sexual service
  • may be under 18
  • trafficking or coercion
  • harassment
  • threats of violence
  • explicit content
  • scam or fraud
  • impersonation
  • hate or abuse
  • non-consensual intimate imagery
  • spam
  • something else

Block takes effect immediately. The person can’t message you again, you won’t be matched with each other in either direction, and every conversation between you is closed and hidden for both of you. They aren’t told that you blocked or reported them. You can unblock someone from Settings → Blocked people, but that only affects the future; closed conversations stay closed.

Reporting is confidential. We never tell anyone who reported them. Please report in good faith; knowingly false or retaliatory reports are themselves a violation.

13What happens after you report#

Every report is graded by how serious it is and reviewed by a trained person.

Repeat offenders’ reports are reviewed with higher priority. We also screen messages automatically before they’re delivered: clear solicitation is blocked, likely violations are held for review, and borderline messages are delivered but flagged. A classifier never bans anyone on its own — a person makes every serious and lasting decision.

14What we remove, and what happens to accounts#

Content we remove or hold: messages that break these standards (held or blocked before delivery, or removed after review), photos that fail review, and profile text that breaks the rules.

Account actions, from least to most restrictive:

Ban

What it means
Your account is closed for good, you’re signed out everywhere, and the same X account can’t start over.

We choose the least restrictive action that keeps people safe, but we ban immediately for anything involving minors, trafficking, credible threats, non-consensual intimate imagery, extortion, sexual-service solicitation or confirmed ban evasion. How enforcement affects Drops and reward pools is explained in the Terms of Service, section 16.

15Appeals#

If we act on your account, you’ll see a notice with the reason in the Safety center. You can appeal each action once, within 30 days, and explain what happened in your own words. Wherever possible, a moderator who wasn’t involved in the original decision reviews it. If we got it wrong, we reverse the action and tell you. Appeals are free.

16In an emergency#

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Then report it in the app or email hello@findflockie.com. Law-enforcement agencies can contact hello@findflockie.com.

17Changes#

We update these standards as Flockie and the risks it faces evolve. The version date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Material changes are announced in the app.
